Dr. Kara Foster is an optometrist, small business owner, health advocate, and proud Holly Springs neighbor who believes eye care should feel personal, thoughtful, and maybe even a little fun.

She opened EyeCare for You because she wanted to practice differently, with more time, more connection, and more focus on the whole person, not just the eye chart. To Dr. Kara, your eyes are more than how you see the world, they can also give clues about your overall health, lifestyle, and long-term wellness.

Her passion for health goes beyond the exam room. She loves helping patients understand how nutrition, movement, prevention, and community connection all play a role in living well. She also believes that healthcare should make sense, feel human, and help people feel empowered, not overwhelmed.

Outside the office, Dr. Kara is a wife, mom, runner, community volunteer, and proud resident of Holly Springs. She and her husband, Kevin, are raising three daughters, which means her life is full of school schedules, big dreams, family adventures, and the occasional attempt to convince everyone that vegetables are exciting.

She is especially excited to bring EyeCare for You to Holly Springs because this is more than a new office, it is a chance to build something rooted in wellness, service, and community. Her goal is for every patient to feel seen, heard, cared for, and encouraged to live a healthier, fuller life.
